In Grand Prix 1999 at Preston, James Wattana passed his first match in Grand Prix 1999 against Mark Fenton from Wales with the score 5-3. And now he will meet Jimmy White in the fourth round or (32 men). White beat Kristjan Helgason from Iceland 5-4 frames.

In addition to James, we have another Thai in this tournament. Noppadon Noppachorn "Micky" is the one and he's already shown his top form since round one to the fourth round and he now will meet Stephen Hendry or Gary Ponting. Let's see whom Micky beat to reach this fourth round

First round beating Sean Storey 5-0 (England)
Second round beating David Gray 5-2 (England)
Third round beating Jamie Burnett 5-1(Scotland)

For Noppachorn, I don't know what the result would be if he met Hendry in the last 32 But, I think if we recall the match between Tai Pichit and Stephen Hendry in 199? held Thailand, that time Hendry was almost whitewashed by Tai. But as a result, he lost 2-5 which really surprised the world and costed Hendry dropping ranking to the second in the next season. This makes me feel that Micky's still got some chance in the next match against King of snooker. Definitely, Hendry will be tough on Micky, but Micky's got nothing to lose... and I guess Micky will get some frames out of 9.
